4 Days gorilla safari and Lake Mburo Park

Day 1 –Transfer to L.Mburo National Park, boat trip and evening game drive

You will be picked from Kampala in the morning after breakfast and drive across the Equator through Uganda's rolling green hills to Lake Mburo National Park (the drive will take approx. 5 hours). We shall have lunch, we will do a boat ride on Lake Mburo and a late afternoon game drive in search of zebra, impala, eland, topi, oribi, cape buffalos, and with luck, Roan antelopes, leopards, hyenas and jackals. Dinner and over night at Mihongo safari lodge/Manatana tented Camp (luxury), Rwonyo Rest Camp/Sky Blue Hotel (budget)

Day 2 -Transfer to Bwindi forest

After an early breakfast at the lodge, we head through the country sides of Kanungu and continue on to Bwindi, Impenetrable Forest National Park, home of the mountain gorillas. In the evening we shall walk to the nearby community for a cultural performance. Dinner and over night at either the Gorilla resort Uganda safari lodge/ Mantana Tented Camp (High end/luxurious accommodation), or Lake Kitandara Tented Camp/ Buhoma Homestead (Medium class accommodation) or the Community Banda’s/Nkuringo camp (Low budget/basic accommodation).

Day 3 –Gorilla trekking

The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to roughly half of the world's 650 mountain gorillas. We will start hiking early with the game rangers and do your best to find them - but remember, there is no guarantee because this is nature and the time taken hiking depends on the movement of these apes! The gorillas are shy, peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph these gentle giants at close range. Dinner and over night at either the Gorilla resort Uganda safari lodge/ Mantana Tented Camp (High end/luxurious accommodation), or Lake Kitandara Tented Camp/ Buhoma Homestead (Medium class accommodation) or the Community Banda’s/Nkuringo camp (Low budget/basic accommodation).

Day 4 - Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast depart for Kampala, tracing our foots back while enjoying our eyes on the beautiful rural coutntry side of Uganda. enroute Lunch and arrival late afternoon.

The safari package includes:

• Transportation by a 4wd vehicle

• Full board accommodation

• Boat trip

• One Gorilla permit per person to be secured and paid for in advance

• Park entry fees

• Full time English speaking Driver/guide.

• Meals

• Game drives

The package excludes expenses of personal nature like: Visa, drinks, laundry, tips to local guides, telephone, personal insurance, tobacco etc.
